Athletes and teams with the greatest ability to accelerate, decelerate and change direction quickly will have the advantage over their opponents.
We used to think an athlete was naturally endowed with speed. Today, we understand that speed is a skill that can and should be taught. Traditionally, coaches outside of the track & field community don't know how to teach speed—until now.
XL Training teaches and improves an athlete's speed by focusing on proper running mechanics, understanding the application of power, and improving strength, mobility and flexibility.
SPEED TRAINING: 3 BLOCKS
#1. CHOOSE DAY AND TIME:
TUESDAYS + THURSDAYS / 6-7PM / DOB 2009-2011
TUESDAYS + THURSDAYS / 7-8PM / DOB: 2006-2008
#2 CHOOSE BLOCK
Block I: 1/3/23 — 1/19/23 (6 sessions)
Block II: 1/24/23—2/09/23 (6 sessions)
Block I and II: 2/14/23—3/02/23 (6 sessions)
